Wenatchee Downs Bellingham Bells in 11 Innings

Wenatchee pinch hitter Jake Taylor's 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning pushed the AppleSox past the Bellingham Bells 6-3 Sunday at Joe Martin Field. The victory spoiled Bellingham's attempt at the home sweep before the West Coast League All Star Break.
Trevor Delaite (0-2; 2.70 ERA) suffered the loss for Bellingham. Wenatchee left-hander Brian Marquez (2-0; 5.11 ERA) got the victory while Grady Miller (1-3; 5.08 ERA) picked uo his first save of the season.
The Bells banged out 11 hits in the loss. Connor Mack it his 3rd home run of the year.
The Bells (23-12) are off for the WCL All-Star Break until Wednesday when they open up a 3-game road series versus the Walla Walla Sweets. Monday's Home Run Derby and Tuesday's All-Star Game will be played at Civic Field in Port Angeles.
