WCL & Moss Adams Partner on Weekly Award

The West Coast League's weekly player honor will now be known as the Moss Adams Player of the Week. The name change is all part of a new partnership between the WCL and the Moss Adams accounting and consulting firm.
New West Coast League commissioner Rob Neyer announced the partnership Monday. Moss Adams will act as the league's official accounting firm beginning this upcoming season.
The first Moss Adams Player of the Week honors will be announced June 4th. The league will choose a position player and pitcher each week based on performance, and announce its selections on each Monday during the season.
Opening Day for the WCL is set for Friday, June 1st. The Bellingham Bells will open on the road at Kelowna.
