The Whatcom Community College men's basketball team has added two new players for next season. WCC head men’s basketball coach Tom Rawlings has announced the signing of Luke Beiser andGarrett Fitt to NWAC letters of intent for the 2018-19 season.
Beiser is a 6-5 forward out of Kenai, Alaska. He averaged 17.8 points and 7.3 rebounds for Kenai Central High School as a senior last season.
Fitt, a 6-7 forward also out of Kenai, Alaska, transfers in from Everett Community College with one year of eligibility remaining. He averaged 7.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in 25 games for the Trojans during the 2016-17 season.
“Luke and Garrett will add size and depth to our roster," said Rawlings. "Both are athletic and their skill sets complement each other. We are excited to have them on board.”
The Orcas already added former WWU forward Dominick Oliveri and Anacortes High School guard Tyler Blouin during the off-season.
