District Softball: Scoreboard & Schedule

The Northwest Conference has claimed all four spots at 2A State out of district 1 in softball. Sehome, Lakewood, Lynden and Sedro-Woolley will all be moving on following tournament action at Janicki Fields in Sedro-Woolley Friday.
Sehome beat Lakewood 6-2 to take the district championship. After both squads survived loser out contests, Sedro-Woollley topped Lynden 15-5 in the 3rd/4th place game.

There are more local softball teams in action at Janicki Fields Saturday. The 1A district tournament wraps up. After securing state berths with wins in the semifinals Thursday, Lynden Christian and Mount Baker play for the championship. Four other teams, Nooksack Valley, South Whidbey, Sultan and Cedar Park Christian are left to battle it out for the final trip to state.
