By Keenan Gray - The Runner
Bellingham, WA - There was a lot of change in week 4 of the Washington State Cross Country Coaches Associations polls. From the Whatcom County area, 5 teams still remain in their respective classification poll.
The Sehome boys remain No. 2 in the 2A boys poll, but the Meridian boys have moved down one spot as they are at No. 2 now in the 1A boys poll.
Sehome and Bellingham both dropped in the 2A girls poll to No. 8 and 9. Bellingham was ranked No. 3 last week, and Sehome was No. 6. The Meridian girls moved 2 spots up to No. 8 in the 1A girls poll.
In other polls, Camas is the new No. 1 in the 4A boys and the Lewis and Clark girls remain at the top in 4A girls. Kamiakin boys and North Central girls remain No. 1 in the 3A ranks.
Washougal boys are No. 1 in the 2A boys poll for the 2nd week in a row, and the Port Angeles girls make their first appearance at No. 1 in the 2A girls poll. Both Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls boys and girls are the new No. 1 teams in the 1A polls. Northwest Christian boys and Liberty Bell girls stay No. 1 in the 1B/2B poll.
The coaches polls are compiled by WSCCCA Vice President Phil English with input from advisory board members and meet directors.
