Sehome's Lynette Wins 2A Tennis Singles Championship

Sehome's Shane Lynette is the 2A boys state singles champion. The senior claimed the crown by downing Josh Chou of Sammamish 6-2, 6-3 Saturday at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle. Lynette did not drop a set at state, losing a total of just 15 games.
The 3-time Northwest Conference MVP won the title after falling in the championship match to Colton Smith of Tumwater last year in straight sets.
The Bellingham boys claimed the 2A team championship with 18 points. Sehome finished tied with Mark Morris for second with 11 points.
