WCC Women Open Play in NWAC Tourney

The Whatcom Community College women's basketball team hits the postseason hardwood today. The third seeded Orcas will play the No, 2 seed Gray’s Harbor in the Sweet 16 round of the Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament at Everett Community College.
The Whatcom women went 17-and-9 overall and finished third in the North Division with a 9-and-5 conference record. Grays Harbor went 15-11 overall and their 9-and-5 conference record earned them a second place finish in the West Division. Both teams are riding 3-game winning streaks heading into the postseason.
Today's game between the Orcas and the Chokers tips-off at 12:00pm. The winner moves on to play in the Elite Eight Sunday at 3:00pm. The Final Four and championship games will be played March 16th and 17th also at Everett Community College.
