WCC Men Fall to Spokane in Elite Eight

The Whatcom Community College men's basketball team saw their season come to an end Friday in the Elite Eight round of the Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament. A hot shooting Spokane Sasquatch squad downed the Orcas 93-69 at Everett Community College.
Garrett White led 4 Spokane players in double figure scoring with 27 points as the Sasquatch shot 49 percent from the field, including 46 percent from 3-point land.
Center Dominick Oliveri turned in a double-double for WCC with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Trazil Lane tallied 14 points and Grant Balvanz added 11.
Whatcom Community College ends the year with a record of 14-and-14.
Spokane moves on to the NWAC Final Four next weekend back at Everett Community College.
