Bellingham United Wins 3rd Straight

Chalk up another victory for Bellingham United FC. The Hammers downed the Snohomish Skyhawks 6-2 at the Snohomish Soccer Dome Saturday in Washington Indoor Soccer League play.
Uriel Herrera and Ivan Colin each scored two goals a piece to lead BUFC. Noe Betancourt Cruz also found the back of the net and Richard Henderson added a goal and an assist in the victory.
With the tally, Henderson increased his league leading mark of goals scored to 16. Herrera is second in the WISL with 12.
Devin Shull and Kyle Aure scored for the Skyhawks.
Bellingham United improved to 7-0-1 (21 points). It sets up a great home match showdown for the Hammers next week versus the first place and undefeated Tacoma Reserves (8-0-0; 24 points). Tacoma topped Bellingham 3-2 in their first meeting back in week 5 on December 22nd.
The week 9 showdown is Saturday at the Bellingham Sportsplex at 7:35pm.
