Preview: Meridian at Blaine on TDLN
January 3, 2019
The Meridian and Blaine boys basketball teams are both chasing the same thing...a Northwest Conference victory. Something has to give as the Trojans visit the Borderites tonight in a game you can hear on The Doug Lange Network.
Both teams are O-and-4 in NWC action so far this season. Meridian comes into the game with a 6-and-5 overall record. At 5-and-6, Blaine is looking to get to .500 on the year with a victory.
After winning their first four games of the season, the Trojans have dropped 5 of their last six games. That includes a 62-56 loss on the road versus Lummi Nation in their their last outing December 28th.
Blaine, under new head coach Brett Farrar, has already topped their 2 game win total from last season. The Borderites are riding a 2-game win streak with non-conference victories over Lynnwood and Granite Falls last week.
Tonight's game tips-off at 7:15pm in the old Ken Waters gym at Blaine High School. You can listen here with coverage beginning at 7:00pm.
