Trevor Jasinsky Selected to GNAC All-Academic Team

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University junior Trevor Jasinsky has been selected to the 2018-19 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team.
Jasinsky (Camas, WA) is a two-time selection to the GNAC All-Academic team, also earning the award during his sophomore season. The standout on the court and in the classroom has maintained a 3.44 grade point average while pursuing his degree in marketing.
On the court, Jasinsky is having a banner junior season averaging 20.0 points per game while recording a GNAC-best 15 games with 20 or more points.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be of sophomore standing or greater, must be in their second season at the nominating institution and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or greater.
Jasinsky becomes the eighth Viking to be named to the GNAC All-Academic team at least two time in a career, joining Rory Blanche (3x, 2010-12), David Brittenen (3x, 2007-09), Chris Mitchell (3x, 2011-13), Calin Schell (3x, 2007-09), Trey Drechsel (2x, 2017-18), Evan Scholten (2x, 2016-17) and Anthony Wiederkehr (2x, 2009, 11).
The 2018-19 GNAC All-Academic Team featured 29 selections, with 15 repeat selections, and eight student-athletes that had a 3.70 GPA or better.
