Bellingham United FC's Cholewa Wins EPLWA Weekly Award

Bellingham United FC's Georg Cholewa has been honored by the Evergreen Premier League Washington. The midfielder is the EPLWA's Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Cholewa, a Western Washington University sophomore out of Leipzig, Germany, scored two second half goals to lead The Hammers past Yakima United 4-2 on the road Sunday. It was the second straight victory for BUFC and their largest offensive showing of the season.
JT Meyers of Oly Town FC is the other offensive co-winner. He scored a goal in a 4-0 home victory over Tri-Cities Alliance over the weekend. Oly Town center back Marco Borja took home the EPLWA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Bellingham United FC is on the road again for their next match. They travel to Gordon Fields in Bremerton Saturday, June 23rd to square off with the Olympic Force at 5:00pm.
