August 12, 2018
It took extra frames, but the Bellingham Bells have forced a third and deciding game in their West Coast League divisional playoff series versus Kelowna. The Bells edged the Falcons 4-3 in 12 innings Saturday in front of 18-hundred plus fans at Joe Martin Field.
Jordan Stoner's two-out single scored Ernie Yake in the bottom of the 12th for the Bellingham win. Stoner ended up going 2-for-6 with 1 run scored, a stolen base and 1 all-important RBI.
The victory offsets Friday's 4-2 loss in Kelowna and sets up the winner take-all game Sunday.

Austin Weiermiller (3-1; 2.61) pitched 2 shoutout innings in the 11th and 12t to get the victory. The lefty out of Stanford did not allow a hit while striking out 3 batters and walking just one.
Bells starter Nick Nastrini got a no-decision after allowing just 1 run on 2 hits with 5 strikeouts.
Kelowna reliever Isaac Olson (4-2; 3.69 ERA) absorbed the loss after facing four batter in the 12th inning.
