Bells Fall to Knights, Suffer 4th straight loss

The Bellingham Bells have lost a season high 4 straight games in a row. The Bells dropped their series opener with Corvallis 5-1 Thursday at Joe Martin Field.
Trace Tammaro was the offensive force for the Knights hitting 2 solo-shot home runs. Cody Hawken also had 2 RBI's for Corvallis.
On a night where the Bells were held to just 4 hits, Bellingham's lone run came on a Grant Holman long ball in the 5th inning.
Corvallis starter Cameron Haskell (2-1; 3.24 ERA) picked up the win. The righty went 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 4 batters. Carson Olson (1-1; 2.61 ERA) suffered the loss for Bellingham.
Bellingham (18-10) and Corvallis (14-10) square off again tonight in finale of the 2-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm.
