Bells at Home Tonight Following Sweep
July 2, 2018
Fresh off a road sweep of the Yakima Valley Pippins, the Bellingham Bells look to keep the winning going tonight at home. The Bells open a 6-game homestead playing host to the Victoria HarbourCats at Joe Martin Field.
Bellingham won their 5th straight West Coast League game Sunday, thumping the Pippins 8-to-1. Landon Kimbro went 4-4 with a double, reaching base 5 times. Bellingham starter Ben Leeper gave up the lone Yakima Valley run, before relievers Trevor DeLaite and Theron Kaye closed it out.
Bellingham (18-6) and Victoria (11-13) square off at 6:35pm tonight. The Bells took 2-of-3 from the HarbourCats on the road last month.
