2A State Soccer: Bellingham Boys out in Quarterfinals; Burlington on to Final Four

The fabulous season has come to a close for the Bellingham boys soccer team. The Red Raiders lost 1-0 to Highline in the 2A state quarterfinals Saturday night at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.
It was the only loss of the season for Bellingham. They finish the year with a record of 18-1-1.
Highland moves on to the semifinals Friday, May 25th at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner. They will battle a familiar Northwest Conference foe in Burlington. The Tigers (13-8-1) advanced with a 4-3 victory over Sequim in extra time.
Columbia River and Franklin Pierce, who beat Sehome in the quarterfinals Friday, will play in the other semifinal.
